Major difference

Beam characteristics:

Spotlights: Emit a narrow beam of light focused on a specific area.
Downlight: provides a wide beam, more uniform light distribution.
Adjustability:

Spotlights: usually adjustable direction, flexibility.
Downlight: fixed installation, light downward projection.
Application scenario:

Spotlights: Suitable for key lighting and task lighting.
Downlight: used for environmental lighting and task lighting, often used with other lamps.
Installation method:

Spotlights: mostly independent devices, installed on the track, wall or ceiling.
Downlight: embedded design, flush with the ceiling, simple and beautiful.
In general, spotlights are used to highlight key points, while downlights pay more attention to the overall lighting effect. In modern lighting design, these two lamps each have a unique role and can complement each other in layered lighting schemes

Radians has a variety of different style downlights prefect for different applications. For exhibitions and musem, we have narrow beam angle, low glare downlights. We have tilt downlights for home use. Waterproof downlight for bathroom. big size and high power downlight for hotal hall. At the same time, we also have professional and experienced engineers to offer OEM service.

We have different size of standard hole diameter.
Small downlight with 45mm cutout for show case.
Under cabinet downlight with 55mm cutout for kitchen use.
Cutout 68mm downlight and 72mm downlight are most widely used in Germany, France and most of European country.
Cutout 75mm downlight is more popular in Denmark and Sweden.
Cutout 83mm downlight is standard hole size for Scandinavian market including Norway, Denmark, Sweden etc.
Cutout 90mm downlight is most choosed by Australia and New Zealand.

We also have some bigger size option available for some high power downlight, like 120mm cutout, 160mm cutout, 200mm cutout, 250mm cutout etc.

We have dimmable version and non-dimmable version for most of downlight.
Based on different dimming methods, we divide the lamps into triac dimming downlight, 0/1-10V dimming downlight, DALI dimming downlight, and RGBCW smart downlight.
Meanwhile, intelligent dimming can be divided by controlling ways into Tuya smart, ZigBee etc.

All products from Radians are designed and produced in strict accordance with CE and RoHS standards. They also meet EU requirements for new ERP. Radians factory has a complete quality control system, including the quality control of suppliers development and purchased income materials, the quality control under the production process and the quality control for finished products, to ensure that each single product we sell to our customers can work properly within the shelf life.
 

Warranty Policy for led downlight from Radians Factory.

Radians provides a 3-year or 5-year warranty for led downlights. If the products sold by Radians have quality problems during the warranty period, we will guarantee that all of defect led downlight will be replaced completely free of charge, including transportation costs.

Radians is committed to producing and developing environmentally friendly and sustainable led downlight. In production, we use lead-free solder paste and plastic-free packaging. In the design of new products, in order to make products easier to repair and electronic components easy to replace, we will think more about sustainability in product design. In the use of raw materials, while controlling the cost, we will try to use some efficient and more energy-saving raw materials.
