Er zijn strenge regels voor het soort verlichting dat je kunt gebruiken, en natuurlijk moet je er zeker van zijn dat ze veilig zijn. In dit artikel bekijken we wat IP-geclassificeerde downlights zijn.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat is een IP-classificatie?<\/h2>\n<p>IP (in IP Rating) staat voor Ingress Progression. Dit is een eenvoudige manier om aan te geven hoe goed de lamp beschermd is tegen invloeden van buitenaf. De IP-classificatie bepaalt of de behuizing van een elektrisch product de werkende onderdelen beschermt tegen binnendringen van water of vaste voorwerpen. IP-testen moeten altijd worden uitgevoerd in een geaccrediteerd testlaboratorium en omvatten het herhaaldelijk testen van de normen om bescherming te garanderen.<\/p>\n<p>Hieronder vindt u een compleet overzicht van de verschillende IP-waarden:<\/p>\n<h3>Stof<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>IP0X \u2013 geen bescherming<\/li>\n<li>IP1X \u2013 bescherming tegen contact met voorwerpen groter dan 5 cm, zoals een hand<\/li>\n<li>IP2X \u2013 bescherming tegen contact met voorwerpen groter dan 1,25 cm, zoals een vinger<\/li>\n<li>IP3X \u2013 bescherming tegen contact met voorwerpen groter dan 2,5 mm, zoals een draad<\/li>\n<li>IP4X \u2013 bescherming tegen contact met voorwerpen groter dan 1 mm<\/li>\n<li>IP5X \u2013 vrijwel stofvrij<\/li>\n<li>IP6X \u2013 100% stofbestendig<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Vocht<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>IPX0 \u2013 geen bescherming<\/li>\n<li>IPX1 \u2013 bescherming tegen verticale vallen<\/li>\n<li>IPX2 \u2013 bescherming tegen vallen onder een hoek van maximaal 15\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>IPX3 \u2013 bescherming tegen spatwater * onder een hoek van maximaal 60\u00b0<\/li>\n<li>IPX4 \u2013 bescherming tegen spatwater vanuit elke hoek<\/li>\n<li>IPX5 \u2013 bescherming tegen spatwater ** vanuit elke hoek<\/li>\n<li>IPX6 \u2013 bescherming tegen krachtig spatwater en golven<\/li>\n<li>IPX7 \u2013 tijdelijke bescherming tegen onderdompeling (30 min)<\/li>\n<li>IPX8 \u2013 volledige bescherming tegen onderdompeling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Waar kunnen downlights met IP-classificatie gebruikt worden?<\/h2>\n<p>De IP-classificatie van uw downlights heeft betrekking op waar ze in de badkamer gebruikt kunnen worden. Stel u voor dat de badkamer is opgedeeld in verschillende zones, in plaats van \u00e9\u00e9n geheel. Op de onderstaande afbeelding ziet u de verschillende zones in de badkamer. Alle fittingen hier moeten op laagspanning werken (maximaal 12 V) en minimaal IP67 (volledige onderdompelingsbeveiliging) hebben.<\/p>\n<h3>Zone 1<\/h3>\n<p>Dit is het gebied boven de douche of het bad, tot een hoogte van 2,25 m vanaf de vloer. De minimale vereiste classificatie is hier IP46, maar over het algemeen is het beter om hoger te gaan \u2013 IP65.<\/p>\n<h3>Zone 2<\/h3>\n<p>Dit is het gebied dat zich uitstrekt van 0,6 m buiten de omtrek van het bad tot een hoogte van 2,25 m vanaf de vloer. Een IP-classificatie van minimaal IP44 is hier vereist. Het is ook verstandig om de ruimte rond een wastafel, binnen 60 cm van een kraan, als zone 2 te beschouwen.<\/p>\n<h3>Buitenzones<\/h3>\n<p>Dit zijn plekken buiten zone 0, 1 en 2 waar waarschijnlijk geen waterstralen worden gebruikt. Er zijn geen specifieke IP-vereisten voor deze zone, maar het is raadzaam om een lamp met een IP-classificatie van minimaal 20 te overwegen.
